Identifying Content Problems
Every product or service solves some sort of problem for the consumer. The best way to deem yourself as the expert in the field is to identify the problem and provide a solution in theory. Providing your customers with resources to solve their problems is the key to successful content. Write about what you do know as well as provide researched information on what may already be out there. Through the content on your site, you develop a relationship that the consumer will depend on for the answers to their problem at hand. Just make sure to do your homework - don't regurgitate content from interior pages and from the competition! It will do more harm than good. Many of my clients are working to portray their site as the expert in their field. It takes time but it will pay off in the end!
