Firefox Saved my MySpace Page

Today I signed on to MySpace to find a comment from a friend of mine that just didn't sound like her. I realized someone had gotten hold of her account somehow. This happens on MySpace and I didn't think much of it.

Then I read her bulletin and found out how the virus or whatever it has basically taken over her account and she might have to cancel it. I decided to send her a message to suggest that she changes her password to see if that would help.

After clicking "Send a Message," a screen came up asking for my email and password. MySpace is glitchy and having to sign in once you're already signed in is a common occurrence.

This is where Firefox stepped in. Firefox warned me that the page looked like it was designed to steal my password. It offered me options to stay on the page or quite literally "Get me out of there!" I chose to get the heck out of Dodge.

That pretty much solidified Firefox as my browser of choice. All the other plugins available are just icing on the cake.
