How Important Are Search Tools?

I just read an article covering why experienced search people are more important than the tools, by Rob Garner from iCrossing. I am not sure if he got his idea from my Paid Search post on SearchEngineWatch (post by "Shilly" ), but I brought this up October 24 when someone asked about recommedations of seo tools (Mr. Garner, a link to my post would have been nice :) ).

Anyway, I obviously feel tools are tools. The data is great to have, but what you do with that data is more important. Get a great search person and you will get great results.
